Off late there's been a massive sound for a clean India and the motivation
behind this is the swacch bharat campaign by our prime minister.
The sense prevails that for any country to be successful it must start from
the root cause of the issues and give itself the time to clean the edges of the
issues. Here, I refer to the importance of cleanliness. Imagine this - for a
country of billion people, isn't it important for us to have a clean
environment to be healthy and fit! Isn't it necessary for India to have toilets
and no open defecation! Shouldn't every women be allowed a life of dignity and
have a toilet in her house! These are the fundamental questions to which we're
looking for answers.
When things are about to change for better, you get somewhat a hint and I'm
getting that hint now. If you closely observe the social media circle around
you, in the last 6 months itself you'd see many social networking sites and
bloggers discussing about the crucial issue of cleanliness and brands like
Strepsils have come forward and given bloggers another opportunity to
"RAISE THEIR VOICE".
Strepsils has launched the campaign #AbMontuBolega, which signified the
importance of speaking up if you want a change. For a #SwacchBharat nirmaan, we
must echo the voice of "righteous" and give ourselves the pride of
speaking for what's right and what's not.
We must differentiate between being a spectator and being a speaker, being
a action-oriented person and being an idle without any aim.
#AbMontuBolega is an inspirational campaign that somewhat pushes us for the
better and in the right direction. After all, this environment of ours is not
our "property", it's borrowed from our coming generations, who shall
get a cleaner and #swacchbharat to live in.
The campaign from Strepsils drives us to move in the right direction
because everyone of us has had enough of "it's fine" when it's really
not. A country like India which has so much potentiol cannot let way the
problem of cleanliness come in it's way towards a change.
Till when the girls in Indian villages will feel hesitant to go to school
because of unproper cleanliness and no toilet, why shall the girl child in
India be restrained from getting quality education just because of lack of
infrastructure, a problem which can so easily be solved only if we're willing to
fight for the change and raise our voice.
Strepsils has begun a campaign, in fact it has began a movement of which
I'm proud to be a part of. It's not often that you're so motivated to drive for
a change but this is just the starting, India is moving towards a change and
we're all ready to raise our voice, right fellas!
