It's a good time to be Indianized


Let me begin this post by a recent post I read somewhere - the post went something like this "I didn't know to this day that the company "Peter England" is Indian and the company "Hindustan Unilever" is an MNC....

What the above fact highlights is that "what's in a name", right! We're in the world of globalization, the world is coming closer than ever before, the mere boundaries of separation have now been shown the closed doors and every country, every culture - is willing to adapt to something which it feels is worth adapting too, there are no boundaries any more and we're all reaching out to one another.

Talking about India and our culture and tradition, we've reached the peaks of the world and yet our modesty and compassion, our simplicity and tradition, our generosity and our perdition makes us a country and a culture to be reckoned with.

How about American models following on the foot steps of a traditional Indian women and walking the ramp in a sari. How about hollywood movies choosing India to shoot their big commercial cinemas like - say Mission Impossible 4 for instance, how about India standing up to it's challenges and becoming a polio free nation - something of which even UN took a great note of, how about Indians being chosen to be good-will ambassadors of UN - be it any field of life India and it's culture is starting to be recognized as a force to be reckoned with.

We're a country of many languages and many cultures, we've our regional languages as well as our national language i.e. Hindi. Yet, we're in the top 5 top countries of the world, in terms of speaking English, something which is to be proud of. Can you imagine a French to be fluent in Hindi, can you imagine an English to be fluent in Hindi, an American to be fluent in Hindi - most probably NO. But an Indian can be fluent in his/her regional language, in their national language as well as a foreign language in English - that's us, that's an Indian - that's why we're so special.

This post is about the celebration of being an Indian and so it's fitting to mention here that Lufthansa surely is more Indian than we think because we Indians, are mesmerizing the world with our charm.
