TIME TO MOVE ON.

It is human tendency that you always want more then what you have at present.
So after establishing Pandey furniture as GEEKEN BRAND i was looking for a company who can satisfy all my project requirements of furniture because Mr.Pandey was only manufacturing the chairs while i was getting requirements of modular furniture,Executives desks, conference tables, cafeteria furniture, lobby seating etc.At the same time Mr. Pandey's factory was ready at Manesar,in Haryana and he had decided to shift there and it was not possible for me to continue with him since i was residing in rohini which is 70 km from manesar.
Fortunately i met some person from a company who were looking for 12000 chairs for middle east and although they got satisfied with our quality & capability but we did not had ISO Certificate by then and later on i initiated the process and Geeken got the certificate in due process. So these people got impressed with my knowledge and asked me that they are officials of M/S KAY-EL HONG LTD. ( A furniture Company with 3000 crore turnover based in Hong-Kong)and they want to establish there set-up in INDIA and if i become there consultant then they will pay me double the amount which i was getting in Geeken.
I agreed to become there Marketing Consultant and since at that time(2003) FDI was not allowed to invest directly in india so they formed a subsidiary company in the name of M/S INFINITY MERCHANDISING (I)PVT LTD .based in gurgaon. So now i became Marketing Consultant of a Rs.3000 crore MNC Company and they were supplying  the furniture to world largest retail outlet WALMART and i was only giving them two days in a week.
It was really a big moment not only for me but for all my family members and i brought my MARUTI ALTO CAR.My childerens were very happy since all my brothers already had the car .
Within two months of establishment of new company we got a big order from Ganga Ram Hospital in delhi of Recliners and Lobby Seating made of stainless steel which is common now in most places but we were the first to brought it in india in a big way.But soon our company got involved in FERA ( Foreign Exchange regulation act) and our owner who was an Indian NRI asked me ( since i was the marketing consultant in INDIA) how much business we were able to do in 5 years and i replied 25 to 30 crore at most.He told us since it is very low in terms of their total turnover worldwide so he decided that it is not worth taking so much trouble of red tapism and operational difficulties for such a small business. So within 6 months he decided to close down the business.
