DISCO ERA

In 1980 the disco songs became very popular in hindi films specially after release of Mithun chakraborty's film Disco Dancer and it's song "I am a disco dancer "became a nation's chart booster.At the same time Usha Uthup songs "Rambha ho Sambha ho" also became a cult song.Bhappi Lahiri the music director was mostly responsible for the popularity of disco songs.

 Then at that time the team of pakistani singer Nazia Hasan & his brother Zoheb Hasan and their music director Biddu released their private album "Disco Deewane"and its songs became the cult songs of that time and these singers were in their teen age.Now recently the same disco-deewane song was used by Karan Johar in his recent film "Student of the year".Then Feroz Khan used Nazia's song "Aap jaisa koi meri zindgi me aaye" in his film "Qurbaani"and again it became the moost popular song of it's time.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                             

But just when Nazia Hasan was capturing the world with her songs she died suddenly and we all lost a beautiful voice.
