I remember the first time I sensed the positiveness of optimism in my life was back in the starting of 1990's, at the time of the birth of my little daughter, who truly became my source of inspiration in life.
Now, optimism is basically when you come out from the old to the new and take a leap towards successfully achieving a target of yours or the realization of the fact that nothing is too hard to be achieved and nothing compares to your will power and strength. I for one, believe, that optimism is all about seizing the moment and giving yourself the motivation that EVERYTHING is possible.
I share with you today the story of how my daughter became the biggest sign of optimism in my life.
I remember the first time that I held my daughter in my hands and the tears of joy that began shattering down from my eyes - she was so small and I could sense that she'd be the motivating and inspiring factor in my life. The joy of parenthood is such that every moment turns into happiness and every hardship turns easy if your family is beside you.
After a few years, I was blessed with a baby boy and my 2 kids have truly been the sign of optimism in my life. It's not their expectations from me that pressure me but there sense of maturity that truly makes me optimistic to learn from them at whichever step possible. I believe that a parent must always be keen to learn from their children.
Coming back to how my daughter became the sign of optimism in my life; after she was born and came to home, I remember that each day before going to work I'd look at her and after coming back from work, I'd spent time with her and regardless of any troubles at the official front or any major success; every moment with my daughter made me realize that professional life is one aspect of life and things happen but I must serve as the ideal father to my children, regardless of the hardships in life and that's the kind of optimism I found from my children.
An ideal father is one who always ensures to instill values and principles into his kids and I definitely do believe that I've done that. I've also taught my children what they taught me (inspite of them not knowing that), that regardless of how tough an opportunity may seem in life, regardless of how difficult a possible goal may look at the outset but it's always the optimism that guides you to glory - NEVER give up is what I've taught my children, always pursue your dreams with whatever little you've got because if you're optimistic and if you've the power of optimism, everything is "possimpible".
