My Beautiful Village Tamuria.

Today I will show my beautiful village to you. My village is in madhubani district of state Bihar. The famous nearby town is Jhanjharpur. Our village has it's own Railway station and our house is just half a kilometer from the station.

Our village also have a bank, Post office,High school which is considered best in the area with boarding & lodge in facilities. The school has a big playground and we used to play inter-village cricket tournament in our childhood during our summer vacation.

The most beautiful thing is sunrise and since our house is east facing so we get to see the first rays of Sun with beautiful colours changing every few minutes and accompanied with chirping of different species of birds which is hard to find in cities. It's a heavenly feeling to listen to sweet voice of cuckoo ( koyal ) voice in the morning and seeing the light coming from body of an insect called jugnu.

Then you get to see the greenery all around. We have got our own mango orchard and in summer time we relish many varieties of mouth watering mangoes and lichies. In other seasons you get banana, gauva, coconut and other varieties of fruits.

Another beautiful thing is taking a bath in the village pond. You can see the beauty of nature at it's best in village and specially at the time of harvest. Most of the villagers come to railway station in the evening and meet each other apart from that we also relish Samoa which is called singhara in our area and one speciality called Pyaji a pakora made with onion which is stuffed with masala and deep fried in oil and eating it along with tea is such an experience.

I am sharing my village photographs so you will get an idea of what I am talking about?
