Bombay & Film Stars

When anyone goes to bombay they have a wish to see the film stars and shootings of the film.We were fortunate since we were living near samukhanand hall and it was center for all type of film activities so we saw lots of film stars and shows like Tabbasum Hit Parade,Hema Malini Dance show,Nutan night show ( Famous actress Nutan was a very good singer also ) I remember the first film star i saw was comedian Rajendranath.Then on various shows attended by us we saw Rekha and got quite disspointed to see her because she not looking very ordinary but Shashi kapoor looked more handsome then we see him on screen.One day Kumar Gaurav came there and he was the biggest heart throb at that time and his film LOVE STORY was the biggest hit of that time and people got mad to just have a look of him.He looked really very handsome.
One day we got a call from our father's office to get ready as he has sent a taxi to witness film shoot adjoining his office at worli.When myself and my younger brother reached there we were shocked to see two of the biggest stars of it's time Dilip Kumar and Amithabh Bachhan shooting for the film Shakti.We saw Amitabh bacchan standing with the fans and very cordial in nature and agreeing to getting photographed with his fans and gave autograph to each of them.My younger brother wanted to take the autograph of amitabh bacchan but i told him not to do so because he is also a human like us and till date he regret this fact that he could easliy have taken the autograph of biggest star of hindi films but because of me.
